How to reach GOLHAA VIEW INN
We strive to extend our customer service from the moment you touch down in Maldives till the very moment you step into your flight back home. Therefore we encourage our guests and it is best to have arranged your airport pickup before your arrival and have accurate information on best possible connection available to reach our hotel GOLHAA VIEW INN in Thulusdhoo Island.
Upon arrival at the Velana International Airport, you will find ATM, Pharmacy, Telecommunication shops where local SIM cards can be purchased, sanitized toilets, restaurants and a variety of small shops selling food, drinks and souvenirs. Baggage storage is available and there is a very helpful Information Desk if you need. Ferry’s depart every ten minutes to the island capital of Male’ (a 15 minutes ride by local dhoni) and cost around USD1(unless before midnight hours). The capital Male’ might not be easy to navigate for first timers, so do not hesitate to contact us for any assistance that you may need.
Option 1: Reach our hotel by Public Speedboat Ferry
Generally comfortable & non-smoking, these high powered vessels will take you to Thulusdhoo approximately within 25 minutes from Airport or from the capital city Male’ for 30.00USD (per way / per person). Children 03 years and above same rate applies.
On every Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday departing from Thulusdhoo at 07:45am and
02:30pm (local time).
On every Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday departing from Male’ & Airport at 11:00am, 04:00pm
and 05:00pm (local time).
On every Friday departing from Thulusdhoo at 02:30pm (local time).
On every Friday departing from Male’ & Airport at 10:00pm (local time).
Speedboat ferry will depart from Male’ on time and on it’s way to Thulusdhoo Island, it will stop-over at Velana International Airport to pick-up arrival clients (if prior reservation is made). On departure, while on its way to Male’ from Thulusdhoo, the speedboat will stop-over at the Airport to drop-off departure clients.
The Speedboat ferry will depart from Male’ in-front of Bank of Ceylon (Jetty No: #6).
Prior reservation is required in order to guarantee seat availability from the Speedboat ferry. We recommend all our guest to inform us your exact Arrival & Departure details at least 05 days prior to arrival to assist you to reserve your seats at the Speedboat. Please coordinate with our hotel to assist us to arrange your pick-up either from airport or from Male’ or atleast direct you to the Speedboat ferry.
Ferry timing can change at short notice on Public Holidays or due to bad weather conditions. We advise our guests traveling by ferry to Thulusdhoo to contact us here. It is our pleasure to make sure that you have the most up to date.
Option 2: Reach our hotel by Dhoni Ferry
Vary affordable, the Thulusdhoo ferry will get you from the island capital Male’ to Thuludhoo Island approximately 90 minutes for just 2.50USD (per person per way / 3 years and above). An additional fee applies for large baggage however it is a pretty small amount.
Non-smoking, comfortable padded seats, a toilet, helpful staff, and an upstairs open air area where you can stretch out and watch pass by resort and local islands while the ferry cruise at average speed of 11 to 12 knots, generally very comfortable.
07:30am the ferry departs from Thulusdhoo and from Male’ sharp at 3.30pm (local time) on every Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Fridays the ferry depart from Thulusdhoo at 02:30pm and from Male’ at 10:00pm (local time). From Male’ the ferry will depart infront of “Local Market” (opposite to Fish Market ). On Tuesday’s there is a Province ferry that stops at several
islands including ours, that ferry departs from Male’ at 2.30pm (local time) departing from Villingli Ferry Terminal.

Option 3: Request our hotel to arrange Private or Group Speedboat Transfer
If you are looking to hire a boat for your own or if you are a group, share & split the cost. Upon request we can arrange speedboat at the best value available at any given time to meet your needs.
